12 LEDs on a tiny chaser is impossible...? Nope not impossible, it can be done. This truly remarkable 12 LED mega mini 28mm diameter chaser kit - the same size as a 50p coin - is just amazing. A real microcontroller, pushbutton, power supply, and 12 bright coloured LEDs are all on this remarkable little PCB, the whole project weighing less than 10 grammes. This tremendous little kit shows it really can be done.Ideal for learning about electronics, with a useful and fun end product you can be proud to show as something you built.
There are 12 bright 3mm LEDs of mixed colours which show patterns and chase around the 28mm diameter ring. You can have any colour mix that you want (if you don't see the colours you want in the list, just send a message and we'll make it for you).
You can select to show any of the preprogrammed patterns by simply pressing the button, or you can have all patterns cycled through in sequence as shown in the video to give an amazing display. Use several of these ring kits together to create a really fabulous display.
All patterns are animated - the LEDs appear to move and chase each other.
The microcontroller remembers your previous pattern selection, so it is restored automatically when you next switch on.
When your order is received, the very detailed assembly instructions are emailed to you; these help you to assemble your project and contain a description of what each component does that you can learn from.
Uses a 6V to 9V power source such as a 9V battery. Comes complete with a kit of power connecting wires, slide switch, and a PP3 9V battery connector (battery not included).
Prepared for dispatch in an antistatic environment, packaged in an ESD protective bag, and sent to you in a padded jiffy bag.
